About Us

The Ovarian Cancer Project was created through a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and has been managed by the Cancer Prevention and Control Division at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. The development of this website was one of the projects that came out of the work of the Ovarian Cancer Advisory Panel which has provided guidance and direction for all of the activities of the Ovarian Cancer Project. This updated version of the website is a result of the input provided by four ovarian cancer patient focus groups and four health care provider focus groups who reviewed and critiqued the original website that was created in 2003.  Their valuable contributions are greatly appreciated.
